Hamari Kahani · Our story

Why should this beauty stay limited to festivals?

Three years ago, while I was still studying, the colourful world of India's festivals fascinated me. Their tradition, their craftsmanship, and their beauty gave me an idea.

Aurya was born from that thought. It brings the spirit and craftsmanship of our celebrations into everyday fashion. Today, as a lifestyle and luxury creator, I present traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern elegance, so that India's beauty is celebrated every day, not only on one day.

    The name

Aurya is inspired by prakash and ujjwalta, light and radiance. Rooted in 'Aur', the name stands for an identity that lights up both tradition and elegance. It is not only a brand name. It is the mark of the story and the craftsmanship behind every outfit.

    What we make

Authentic Indian ethnic wear: sarees, suits, lehengas, and fusion wear. Each piece joins traditional weaves with a modern silhouette. We design every piece for comfort and for elegance.

    What sets us apart

Aurya sells an experience, not only clothes. We focus on quality fabric, fine craftsmanship, and attention to detail, so every piece is unique and lasts. Away from mass-produced fashion, we put authenticity and a personal touch first.

The atelier

How an Aurya piece is made.

  1. 01  —  The idea

    Festival color

Every design starts with a festival: its colors, its rituals, and its light.

  2. 02  —  The fabric

    Silk, chanderi, organza

Tissue silk, chanderi, organza, and brocade, chosen for their sheen and their fall.

  3. 03  —  The craft

    Gota, mirror, and zari

Our karigars work the borders and panels by hand. Every piece carries their skill and their history.

  4. 04  —  The finish

    Pressed and checked

A final press and a quality check before each set leaves the atelier.
